AI text RPG · every story begins with you

Play a novel. Type what you do.

An AI storyteller writes the scene. Underneath runs a real RPG: you roll a d20, and the game keeps your health, gear and level.

You say what you do. The story answers.

No menus with three options: you type what you want, and an AI storyteller writes the next scene. The world keeps track of what changes.

  1. 1

    Pick a world

A night train full of secrets, a space station, a cursed kingdom. Or describe your own world in one sentence.

  2. 2

    Create your character

A name, a past, a role. No forms full of rules: the story gets to know you as you play.

  3. 3

    Type what you do

Anything goes. Bargain, lie, run, force a door. The story responds, and your choices have consequences.

The night train to Bruges · turn 4

The compartment smells of wet wool. The conductor stops, his lamp on your hands. ‘Ticket, please. And what's in that coat?’

Presence · averageReal ticket +2

He studies the ticket for a long time. Then he nods, a little too quickly. ‘Safe travels.’ But in the window you see him reach for his whistle at the next compartment.

  • The conductor trusts you less
  • Clue: he reaches for his whistle

Not a chatbot. A real RPG with rules.

The storyteller writes, but the game decides what is true: what you own, where you are and how you are doing.

Dice and risk

You roll the d20 yourself for risky actions. First you see the number you need and what is at stake. Failing costs you something, so winning feels like winning.

A character of your own

Five roles with strengths of their own, a past you write yourself and ten levels: along the way you choose talents and grow stronger.

Items and money

Your items and your money are fixed. The game counts them, not the storyteller: nothing appears or vanishes by chance.

Jobs and goals

People ask for help. Take a job on or turn it down, and live with the consequences.

People who remember you

Trust counts when you try to win someone over. Push too hard and their patience runs out.

Danger on the clock

Threats build up as time passes and when you fail. When the clock is full, the consequence is permanent.
